Help with UNISON
UNISON support covers the player: the app, your UNISON account and your purchase. We cannot support the third-party IPTV service you connect, which belongs to your provider. Start with the relevant section below, then email us if it is still not right.
Email support
Write to [email protected]. To get a useful answer first time, include your device model, your Android version, the UNISON app version and a clear description of what you did and what happened.
Never send us your IPTV credentials
Do not include your IPTV username, password or full server URL in an email, a review, a forum post or a social media message, to us or to anyone else. Anyone holding those details can use your line. UNISON support will never ask you for them, and any message that does is not from us.
If a genuine diagnosis ever requires more than the details above, we will tell you exactly what is needed and why, and it will never be your password.
Troubleshooting by area
Sign in & account
- Check you are using the same email address you registered with.
- Use the in-app password reset if a sign-in is rejected.
- A UNISON account is separate from your IPTV provider account. They are not interchangeable.
- If sign-in fails on one device but works on another, confirm the device has a working internet connection and the correct date and time.
Xtream connection
- Re-enter the server address exactly as your provider supplied it, including any port number.
- Check the line is active and not expired with your provider.
- Some providers limit how many devices can use a line at once, and an extra active connection elsewhere can block a new one.
- Never send us your username, password or full server URL.
Playback
- Try a different channel or item. If only one fails, the issue is usually with that stream.
- Test the same stream on another device to work out whether it is the player or the service.
- On a TV box, close other running apps before reporting a performance problem.
- Wired ethernet is more consistent than Wi-Fi on most TV boxes.
Live TV
- Missing channels are supplied (or not) by your provider, and UNISON shows exactly what your service exposes.
- Refresh your service in the app after your provider changes your package.
- Use favourites to keep large channel lists manageable.
Movies & Series
- Artwork and descriptions come from your provider; sparse metadata is a provider-side limitation.
- If a series shows no episodes, check the category still exists in your package.
- Search works across what your service exposes to the app.
EPG / TV guide
- UNISON renders the EPG data your provider publishes. It cannot create guide data that is not sent.
- Empty or wrong listings are almost always a provider-side EPG issue.
- Confirm your device time zone is correct if programmes appear shifted.
Purchases & restore
- Lifetime access is a one-time £9.99 purchase through Google Play.
- Reinstalling? Sign in with the same Google account used for the purchase and use restore purchases in the app.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policies.
- Your own IPTV service is billed by your provider and is nothing to do with this purchase.
Device support
- Supported: Android phones, tablets, foldables, Android TV and Android TV boxes.
- Not supported: iOS, Apple TV, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Windows, macOS and browsers.
- Use the 72-hour trial to confirm behaviour on your specific device before purchasing.
Delete your UNISON account
You can request deletion of your UNISON account and its associated account data at any time. Delete the account from within the app where that option is available, or email [email protected] from the address registered to the account with the subject Account deletion request.
- We will confirm the request and delete the account data we hold for you.
- Deleting your UNISON account does not cancel or affect your third-party IPTV service. Contact that provider separately.
- Deleting your account does not refund a Google Play purchase; refunds follow Google Play's policies.
- Some records may be retained where we are legally required to keep them, as described in the Privacy Policy.
