Everything UNISON does, and nothing it doesn't
UNISON is a player. It gives your own IPTV service a proper interface on Android: a guide worth reading, libraries worth browsing, and playback built for the device in your hand or under your television. It does not supply channels, movies, series or playlists.
Watching
The four surfaces you spend your evening in.
- Live TV
- Channel categories, fast switching, and a channel list that stays usable when your service exposes thousands of entries.
- Movies
- Poster-led browsing of the on-demand films your own service provides, with artwork and details where available.
- Series
- Shows grouped into seasons and episodes rather than a flat list, so continuing a series takes two taps.
- EPG / TV guide
- A grid programme guide rendered from the EPG data your provider supplies, with playback straight from the guide.
Finding your way back
Most evenings you want one of about ten things.
- Favourites
- Mark the channels, films and shows you actually use and keep them at the front of the interface.
- Recently Watched
- Pick up where you left off without hunting through categories again.
- Account sync
- Your UNISON account carries your setup between the devices you sign in on.
Playback
Designed around the hardware people really own.
- Playback controls
- Straightforward controls designed to work equally well with a touchscreen and a TV remote.
- Subtitles and audio tracks
- Select from the subtitle and audio tracks the stream itself provides.
- Floating playback
- Picture-in-picture style playback where the Android device supports it.
- Device-aware behaviour
- Designed to prioritise smooth playback across different Android hardware rather than chasing maximum resolution.
Setup
Your own service, entered once.
- Xtream compatibility
- Connect using the Xtream-style server address, username and password your own provider issued you.
- Android and Android TV
- One app family across phones, tablets, foldables, Android TV and Android TV boxes.
How it comes together
The EPG, treated as a first-class screen
A lot of IPTV apps hide the guide behind a menu. UNISON puts it where a television viewer expects it, and renders whatever EPG data your service publishes as cleanly as that data allows.
- Timeline grid with channel rows
- Now and next where the data allows
- Guide quality depends entirely on your provider
ONE ACCOUNT | EVERY SCREEN
Your UNISON account is the thing you set up, not each individual device. Replacing a TV box should take a sign-in, not an evening.
- Sign in once per device
- Favourites and setup travel with the account
- Add a new device without re-entering everything
What we deliberately don't claim
- We do not claim UNISON plays every format from every provider.
- We do not claim it never buffers. That depends on your network and your service.
- We do not guarantee 4K. Resolution is whatever your provider sends and your device can decode.
- We do not claim compatibility with every IPTV service in existence. Use the 72-hour trial to check yours.
- We do not supply channels, playlists, movies or series, and we never will.
